CollegeDunia To Reach 1 Million Visitors Per Month In 6 Months From Current 1 Lakh

A whooping amount of over $160,000 (i.e. Rs 1 crore) has been pumped into CollegeDunia education portal by Gaadi.com CEO Umang Kumar and certain other investors. The purpose of clear, tremendous faith in the way portal is working and serving to education enthusiasts and the projected plans of growth. Reportedly Sahil Chalana, the founder of CollegeDunia is quite happy with the proceedings of funding that has come to his way so as to give optimum shape to the portal in a big way, as per his dream.

Currently Collegedunia portal lists over 800 colleges with count increasing everyday aiming to reach to 8,000 colleges, polytechnic institutes and coaching institutes in next 6 months. The fund amount is planned to be invested in techonlogy advancements along with boosting marketing and operations so as to complete their stipulated targets of growth. The portal lists colleges based on the courses offered by them and also the course wise listing of colleges offering those courses.

 

The comprehensive listing not ony includes courses a college offers but also provides information about fee of each course, duration, admission criteria and so on.

CollegeDunia: This Is The Ultimate Education Portal Like Zomato In Food

CollegeDunia is an online education portal where you find details of any college of India. The portal has currently over 700-800 colleges listed and plans to reach to 8,000 listings by May 2015 which will include colleges/ b-schools/ polytechnic institutes/ coaching institutes and other institutes. Not only this, but the education portal also plans to a level where each and every micro level activity is available here. 

The portal has a beautiful design and tab settings. On the home page you will find separate tabs for Management, Engineering, Medical, Science, Arts, Commerce and Law under which you can find relevant information related to that particular main stream. A walking distance from Gateway of India, it is hyped or overrated place to have food. Quite happening place being near to the market. Food is good but on a hot noon, it was difficult to sit inside in lack of proper air circulation. Biryani is good and so are the tikkas. But comfort in seating, cooling etc. needs lot of improvement.

Quite happening place all the time. During the daytime, probably you would  be able to listen to what other person is talking to you but during the evening time it is quite crowded and noisy. But still is liked by a lot. Food and drinks - both are fabulous and have a unique touch in food and cocktails.

n my multiple visits here, I have found it an okay place to relax and sip your coffee along with some light snacks. Being an open lounge, you have to bear with few flies here and there, around! Staff is friendly and customer focused. There is only one big fan in the right extreme end (near the counter) that suffices the purpose of 1 table completely and other 1 half. That's it. Rest tables cooling, depends on the weather.

Yo China: Iska Chinese Manga Dala To Jhinga La La

I am not too big fan of Chinese food but there are certain Chinese restaurants where the stuff is really awesome. Yo! China is one of those places. This was a home delivery order. Packing was so good for all 4 items ordered. The packaging is good, and so is the cleanliness. Food was delivered well within stipulated time and in good condition. We enjoyed it.

Short Story: Conspiracy by Duryodhana to Kill Bheema Quashed by Krishna

Everyone knew about Bheema's love and passion for food with no boundaries around. Duryodhana decided to take advantage of this and planned to kill Bheema by adding poison in his food. Duryodhana knew that Bheema loves Laddoos a lot and that is why he added a good amount of poison in the laddoos made specially for Bheema by him. He called Bheema and offered him those poisoned laddoos placed in a strong and beautiful bowl. Though Bheema was going for swimming in the river, but after getting attracted to that beautiful large serving bowl that made those laddoos the most beautiful food.

Bheema in an uncontrolled mode, ate all the laddoos and then dived into the river nearby for swimming. Duryodhana felt very happy that now with the effect of strong poison mixed in those laddoos, Bheema will definitely get drowned in the river. But Duryodhana never knew that though he had chosen the most reliable and strong bowl which definitely was indestructible by normal human beings but would not stand against Lord Krishna.

Krishna came to know the conspiracy that was being played by Duryodhana, well in advance. And while Duryodhana was mixing poison in laddoos and keeping them in bowl, poison was being leaked completely through an invisible crack done by Krishna at the bottom of the bowl. And when all the poison was flown out of laddoos, the crack was filled by Krishna and the bowl became same as original.

That is how Bheema was saved.

When Shabri Presented Berries to Rama and Lakshamana in a Borosil Designer Bowl Set

After Sita had been kidnapped by Ravana, it was quite painful for Rama and Lakshamana to get her whereabouts. While Rama was cursing himself for leaving Sita for her persistence of getting the golden buck who was Marich in disguise for this purpose only; Lakshamana was no less than in shock for losing his mother like sister-in-law. For this both had not been able to have proper food for all these days during their search for Sita.

Shabri was grown quite old while waiting for Rama to visit her hut. She, being a high devotee and worshiper of Lord Rama, had been blessed by sage Matang that some day Rama would definitely visit her. She kept her wish alive with an urge to meet Rama some day.

One day, while searching for Sita, both the brothers reached Shabri's hut. Rama felt thirsty and hungry, and thus requested Lakshamana to knock the door of that lonely hut around. Shabri got overwhelmed to find her god in front of her. She washed Rama's feet and welcomed her inside her small hut. Rama asked her if she had something to offer, as they were hungry.

Shabri brought fresh berries and a Borosil Designer Bowl set. While she placed fresh berries in one of the bowl and offered them to Lakshamana, another bowl was kept empty in front of Rama. She picked one berries one by one, tasted them, and kept the sweeter ones in the bowl kept in front of Rama. Rama smilingly and heartily picked the partially eaten berries and ate them. Lakshamana got angry to see Rama eating berries tasted by Shabri and asked reason from Rama.

Rama told Lakshamana that it was Shabri's devotion that kept the purity of berries intact and Borosil made it Beautiful Food. (#BeautifulFood).

PHD Outlet Review: Poor Service Over-The-Counter: ACs Ineffective

Visit date: 7th June, time spent over an hour or so. Number of air conditioners in that small outlet was 3  and all working as per staff but temperature was too high, every customer sitting there was sweating and everyone had the same opinion - ACs are not working.

One group of 7-8 youngsters who had come couldn't stay for long and went without placing an order due to very high temperature inside - at the seating area.

Most of the time nobody from PHD staff was present at the counter - reason I can see is that the A/Cs inside kitchen would have been working perfectly.

Bill for cold drink taken in the second round was not given by the PHD guy called from inside at the counter to do the needful.

Overall - poor state of the outlet. I would rate 1/5 for this visit.

Murg Reshmi Tikka (starter) was tasteless - no salt and no flavor/ taste of spices in it. It was omelette which itself was very dry which was used to roll the tikkas. The Pudina chutney made in curd was more reshmi than tikkas. Onion were the large ones that were given as salad which were harder to eat and were more tangy. Rather baby onion or green onion would have been a better choice.

Vegetable - Murg Tikka Lababdar had more gravy and less pieces. Otherwise it was ok to eat. Exotic Vegetables in Oyster sauce was ok.

Breads: Pudina paratha and methi paratha - were not at all soft. And there was no flavor of either in respective parathas.

Ambience - ok

Staff - ok

Biryani is highly overpriced. Menu published on Timesdeal and zomato - rates are wrong. In actual you will find much higher prices when you sit there to eat.

One rubbish thing that is noticed these days is very frequent price increase in menu items - almost every fortnight/ month. These buggers should be governed by some guidelines/ bars.

The atmosphere is excellent. There is no hurry from staff side and you are free to sit as long as you want. So Buffet here does not mean that you quickly grab a table, fill your plates, finish food and leave the restaurant. Nobody seems to be in a hurry. Ambiance is good. You won't find poaching eyes of staff here that disturbs you when you are there with your family having female members.

Starters are fantastic and you have a good amount of variety. You get starters on your table itself. You don't need to wait or call someone to get the next round, or to start. One or the other serving guys will keep coming with different starters. If you liked a particular starter and by chance you don't find it with any of the guys around, just tell one of them and it will be on your table within seconds. The stuff is hot and sumptuous. We had good number of rounds of veg/ non veg tikkas and kababs to start with. 

For main course you have to go to the opposite side of entrance where though items in veg and non veg would not be in plenty but you won't find it short too, by any means. Again the stuff is of great taste. Just keep in mind that for the dessert round you need to keep some space in your tummy. There is no rush! Take your own time, enjoy your main course and then go for a good range of cakes, ice creams and other varieties. The menu changes everyday, on Tuesday and Thursday you have some discounts. For dining out with family in a good atmosphere and sumptuous food, this is one of my favorite spot.

Zen - Perfect Chinese and Japanese Food Place

If you are a Delhite (or are in NCR) and have not visited this restaurant so far - just go without any second thought. but but but .... if you can't eat chinese or japanese food, don't go to this restaurant as this restaurant serves only chinese and japanese food. Even if you are not a Delhite (or NCRian) and planning to tour Delhi, I am sure you will definitely spend a couple of days in Connaught Place, the central hub of Delhi, and once you are there, do go to this restaurant for your lunch or dinner.


I have been to this restaurant both at lunch as well as dinner. found the same energy and vigour in the staff at all times. Food was very tasty. Ambience is perfectly ok. Location is at the inner circle of connaught place. And if you are planning to get down from metro to roam around Connaught Place, you will be getting down at ''Rajiv  Chowk'' metro station. There are different outlets to come out of this station (as this station is underground). Be careful to take the outlet taking you to Plaza Theatre side. Else if you go towards Palika Bazar outlet you will have to walk more to reach to this place. Getting out towards Plaza will take hardly 2-3 minutes to reach to Zen. Zen is in B-Block. The complete address is: B - 25, Connaught Place, New Delhi - 110 001. 


Food is slightly costlier as compared to the same class restaurants elsewhere. Pan Fried Noodles costed Rs. 160/-, Fresh Mushroom & Babycorn vegetable in Ginger Sauce costed Rs. 140/-. Although the prices are higher but the good taste of food compensates it. The gentry around is always good. What else will you look for in a Restaurant - Good ambience, good people around, tasty food, good service, this all you will find there in Zen.This Restaurant serves Wine and Beer. Has two floors to seat people. But it will still take time for Delhi People to mature up when they DRINK in Restaurants/ outside. 


I got disturbed by two things there when I was having food at Zen: 


There is no classification in the zones as Smoker's Zone and Non=Smoker's Zone. So  you have heavy blows in between your food of the smell of Cigarettes around as the persons sitting next to your table may be smoking heavily and thus spoiling the atmosphere around you. Now if most of the tables are occupied and you are already settled on a table, and moreover you have placed order for your food, I think you will compromise with the smell of cigarettes smoke around and will have your food.


But the Restaurant Management should think seriously to clearly ear-mark the tables in the smoking zone and table away from the smoking zone. And since it has two floors, ground and first, it can provide drinks and food on first floor and only food at the ground floor. I think many families would not be preferring to get into this restaurant in the night even if they know that the food is excellent just because of cigarette smoke around in the atmosphere (sometimes very heavy smell) and the drinking lots around.


I observed a newly married couple requesting the waiter to shift them to a table upstairs since a single person was sitting on a table 90 degrees to their table and was having his beers and cigarettes, and was continuously peeping into that newly wed lady. This couple waited for 5-10 minutes on that table and when found that situation is not good, shifted to upstairs table.


Conclusion Good points:

5. Professionalism in the air.


Points of Improvements
1.. Separation of Smoking and Non-Smoking Zones 
2. Drinks should be served only on first floor. 
3. Prices are slightly higher.


Overall I would seriously recommend a visit to this restaurant to have mouth licking Chinese and Japanese Food. at least once.By the way did I tell you the meaning of Zen - it means ''Perfection'' or ''Perfect''
